Coefficient Media traveled to the great city of Columbus Ohio to participate in the first Podcamp Ohio.

We had a great time getting to know all the podcasters out there, talking with all those interested in finding out what podcasting is and meeting those who were there that just enjoy learning about new technology. There we over 200 people that came out to learn and share with the community but the it doesn’t stop there. We sponsored the event and recorded all the sessions that were presented. Drupal Portfolio

We have been doing a lot of work recently with Drupal, the amazing opensource CMS. We have also just created our own Drupal Portfolio page to feature all the great designs and implementation we have been doing with Drupal. Also related to Drupal, if you are in the Ann Arbor area we will be having a 1 year anniversary party for our Drupal developers group meeting in Ann Arbor. Say it with words?

I just got done watching a great movie online all about text. To be more specific, typography. It was really interesting seeing people talk about they way letters look as if it was more important than the words themselves. Although most people don't realize what type face is used when they read something, sometimes it makes the whole experience better. If you ever wanted to watch a full movie about typography then this is the one for you. It is called Helvetica and as the title says, it focuses a lot on the use of the Helvetica font through history.

Launch party was a success

Well I just got done cleaning up after the big launch party! The party was as much a success as the new site. We have some good cheese and drinks and continued to dance and look silly on the web cam. If you joined us online for the event, thanks for taking time to see what we have going on over here. Unfortunately Dan got the best of me while playing Wii Bowling and had me beat by the 7th frame and didn’t give up the lead for the rest of the set. Cory once again perfected his homerun swing while fully reclined on the couch and Brian really enjoyed the mini quiches we had.

The live streaming was super fun and thanks to Zaldor and Dave for checkin in with us and chatting for a while. We will probably do more live events in the future and will most likely turn a camera on when we record our podcasts.

Thanks to everyone that helped out with the new site and had fun at the party. Now I have to clean up the big mess from all the nacho cheese that is leftover!
